Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use the Expo Radar Pro website and app.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Who we are

Expo Radar Pro is made by Festival Radar BV ("we", "us"), 's Hertogenlaan 107, 3000 Leuven, Belgium, company number BE 0805.882.829.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to everyone who uses our website or the Expo Radar Pro app (together, "the service"), including crew, volunteers and guests who were invited to an event.

If your organisation buys Expo Radar Pro from us, our General Terms and Conditions (Algemene Voorwaarden) and our data processing agreement also apply. They're part of every quote and agreement, and if they say something different from these terms, they take precedence. You can ask for a copy at [email protected].

3. Using the app

You use the app because an organisation, usually a festival, invited you. That organisation decides who gets access, which role you have and what you can see, and it can remove your access at any time.

To use the app, you must be at least 16 years old. You sign in with your phone number and a code, so keep that code to yourself. Whatever you do in the app, you do on behalf of the organisation that invited you.

4. Acceptable use

Please use the service for what it's made for: coordinating tasks and incidents at events. You agree not to:

  • use it for anything unlawful or to harm, harass or threaten anyone;
  • upload content you have no right to share, or photos and details of people beyond what the job requires;
  • try to get access to events, data or systems you weren't invited to;
  • disrupt the service, overload it, or copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software;
  • resell the service or give access to people outside your organisation without our written permission.

5. Your content

The tasks, incidents, photos, voice messages and chat you add belong to the organisation that runs the event. We only use them to provide the service. We may use anonymised, aggregated statistics to improve Expo Radar Pro, as long as no person or customer can be identified from them.

When you share a task or incident through a public link, anyone with that link can see it until the link is revoked or expires.

6. Not an emergency service

Expo Radar Pro is a coordination tool. It doesn't replace emergency services, radios or your event's safety and emergency procedures. A push notification can be delayed or not arrive at all, for example when a phone has no signal, so never rely on the app alone in an emergency. In a life-threatening situation, call 112 and follow your event's procedures.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep the service running, especially during festivals, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update or change the service, and we try to plan maintenance outside busy moments. For customers, the details are in our General Terms and Conditions.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design, names and logos of Expo Radar Pro belong to Festival Radar BV or its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service as described here, and nothing more.

9. Liability

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or the consequences of decisions made based on information in the app. For customers, our liability is set out in our General Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service. You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account deleted, see our Privacy page.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.

12. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Leuven, Belgium, unless the law says otherwise. If these terms exist in more than one language and there's a difference, the Dutch version applies.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms? Mail [email protected].

Run your trade fair operations according to plan.
